Fooling around in the snow

This is another photo from the first day I actually had the courage to go outside with my camera.....it was brutal out that day and even the dogs didn't want to stay out for long

The First of Many.........

this is the very first photo I took with my new nikon d70..... I cannot wait to learn to use this camera in the way it was designed and intended.......I love the way this bench looks and usually hang out on it during the day when I need a break from my jobsite....a nice place to gather thoughts and relax for a few minutes.

Night setting.....or not!!!!!

The other night there was a small accident and car fire near my house. I figured what a great time to check out how well the camera behaves in the hands of a noobie at night.....not as good as i would have liked.....Boy do I have alot to learn!!!!!! Help me please!!!!!

Playing with my settings

Dont mind me folks I am just trying to figure out this camera and this blog as well.....resizing images and such....all new to me

A New Begining

I have decided to start this blog with hopes that it will give me a place to show the chronological progress of my new hobby. Perhaps an old hobby rekindled I have embarked upon a new frontier. I have a quest to search myself, my interests, my ideas, my dreams and my passions.... I hope to achieve something here although I am not sure what.....so sit back and enjoy the ride with me.....I hope that it is a good one for all of us.....
